After a belter of a 2015 curtain-raiser in London's Victoria Park, Citadel is back to build on a triumphant first year that brought Bombay Bicycle Club, Ben Howard, Kurt Vile and loads more together for a day to be remembered in the UK festival calendar.
This time around the bar has been well and truly raised - pioneers of all music other-worldly Sigur Rós are set to treat fans to new music after heavily touring 2013 record Kveikur, whilst acclaimed electronic songsmith and co-headliner Caribou continues to bring seriously summer vibes with his latest record Our Love
Elsewhere across the festival, we present a stage with legendary promoters Soundcrash, featuring recent Last.fm session stars Maribou State, no less, as well as widescreen epic-bringers Submotion Orchestra, previous Mercury Prize nominees GoGo Penguin and more.
Of course no music festival is complete without heaps of non-music stuffs, so the Citadel team are presenting talks, debates, theatre, dining and more. Check out the full programme here.
