In an interview with Genius, A Boogie explained what inspired this song:
"The moment I wrote this song, I was in the process of thinking about this girl that did me wrong. I started going out with this girl for about four months. She told me she was pregnant, so I’m thinking it’s mine. At first I was buggin’ like, “Damn, I don’t want a baby.”
And then one day she disappeared on me, then I seen a picture with her and some nigga, she was pregnant and shit. I was just thinking like, “Damn this bitch really did me wrong.”
Although the song tells the story of getting angry after getting played by a sweetheart, in the end A Boogie’s romantic side shines through as he repeats the song title over and over: “I still think about you…”
In an interview with XXL, A Boogie described this track as “one of the five hits” on his debut mixtape, Artist. Revolt described it as an example of A Boogie’s “rare versatility and style that is freeflowing and allows for him to dance over lines of R&B”.
